New Engine RFP released

Extension Volunteer Fire Department is happy to announce that the release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) to invite Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals to provide the EXTFD with the design, manufacture and delivery of One (1) New Single-Axle, 4-Door Fire Rescue Engine Vehicle for the Extension VFD. This new Engine will replace our current front-line apparatus, our 1994 Freightliner Engine 4. “Keeping our equipment updated is essential to our response and the safety of our members.  Updated equipment also translates to maintaining lower insurance rates for the citizens in our service area.” said Deputy Chief Brandon Britt.

The Extension Volunteer Fire Department, at 2201 Bramley Road in Extension BC, is an all-volunteer department with more than 25 members.
